After viewing this movie again recently, I strongly wish this movie would be shown in classrooms - yes, despite the language and violence - if it could be proven that the discussions in the classroom would make a positive difference in the relationships between people.

Falling Down Clips
I've read online that "Falling Down" is Michael Douglas' favorite movie. I remember it caught a lot of bad press because the people portrayed in the movie were considered caricatures of a group, but I didn't think that when I watched it. For example, in the golf course clip below, I believe there really are jerks who would act like the characters in the clip. Not ALL country club members are like that - never said that! - but I believe some would act like that.
After viewing this movie again recently, I strongly wish this movie would be shown in classrooms - yes, despite the language and violence - if it could be proven that the discussions in the classroom would make a positive difference in the relationships between people.
