Interesting Opportunities for NOT Me

Not for me, but interesting. This site appears to be a good resource for writing-related jobs so here is the home page for searching for positions for the company: ttps://www.randstadusa.com/

Today, July 30, 2019, I found the three jobs below. I noticed a gap between the hourly rates ($60 - $117) which made me wonder, "What do these jobs pay?"

Because I love math so much (NOT!!), I decided to use this simple formula:
(Top of the listed salary range x 40 hours a week) x 52 = Yearly Gross Pay
This is what I determined:
  • Newport Beach, California - ($60 x 40) x 52 = $124800
  • North Chicago, Illinois  -     ($83.30 x 40) x 52 = $173264
  • San Francisco, California -  ($117 x 40) x 52 = $243360
Of course, no, I'm not leaving North Liberty for California or Illinois.
