Kind of Funny

99% of the drummers in the world know that a drum set is considered "the drums" and when describing a drum set as a "5 piece", that means there are 5 drums, a "7 piece" means that there are 7 drums. This is how drum sets are referred. You don't call "blue" a "shade"; it's a color. Thus, when I saw this ad on Craigslist, it made me realize that, despite "industry" standards, there is always going to be someone who does not know the standard and because they do not know the standard, other words will be used to convey the intended meaning. So here's the ad:

The Point?

There is always a better way to communicate information. I think that is the challenge in life - to find the appropriate way to convey the intended meaning of a message.
