Opposite

I learned that these are not opposite points of view:
  • pro-life
  • pro-choice

I don't consider myself pro-choice. I think that when a woman is pregnant, there's a living person within the womb so, in my head, I'm pro-life. Some disagree with that logic.

After last Sunday's Super Bowl 50 airing of an ad for Doritos, "the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League said the ad used an [emphasis mine] “anti-choice tactic of humanizing fetuses" - the link is below. It's bad to "humanize a fetus," per this group. Unless you're Hillary Clinton. She was interviewed by MSNBC's Rachel Maddow about her recent trip to Flint, MI, to do something about the iron in the water crisis. Clinton stated that she heard stories from people that live in Flint, MI, specifically citing the story of a woman who was pregnant with twins and that she had lost her twins.

Wait. Did Hillary Clinton just humanize the fetuses inside that woman by calling them "twins"? I think so. And I fully realize that the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League and Hillary Clinton do not speak for one another. That said, where is the outrage by the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League regarding Hillary Clinton's statement? Does the "pro-choice" mentality mean that only certain cases of "humanizing fetuses" are offensive? Here's the link to the article: http://cowboybyte.com/42588/abortion-group-blasts-doritos-ad-for-humanizing-fetuses/ & within the first two minutes of the embedded interview, you will hear Clinton "humanize" the fetuses. Twice. And, as a side note, yes, Hillary is still dealing with her email server: http://minutemennews.com/carl-bernstein-vast-right-wing-conspiracy-didnt-put-hillarys-server-in-her-damn-closet/
