Yesterday's Anniversary

This is a great story that I enjoy telling. Yesterday was the 21st anniversary of the first time I was hired as a technical writer. I am eternally grateful to one of our college friends, Kevin, who had attended our New Year's Eve party on 12/31/1993 and talked about how great the company was that he worked for. I hold him responsible for leading me to my first job. That interview began at 8 and, by noon, I had signed a letter that stated I accepted their job offer. This was an accomplishment that was hard-earned and, in my opinion, well-deserved. I was ecstatic to land the job.
