By the way, now I do have a reason to practice my drums: the Bad Rumor gig on October 28, 2022, is only 16 days (2 weeks, 2 days) away. We are rehearsing tonight at Russ's house in Cedar Rapids. Russ has a set of drums in his house so I only need to bring sticks. I will probably bring up some cymbals as well and, perhaps, the new-to-me Pearl bass drum pedal that came with the Sonar set. I have only played that pedal 4 times so I'd like to be more familiar with it between now and the gig.
