David Diepold may be one of my new favorite drummers. Below are videos he uploaded to his youtube.com channel. The first is his drum cover of Nile's "The Inevitable Degradation of Flesh" and the second is just his drumming for the song.
Diepold is also involved in Cognizance - they released the Illusory in August. Here are tunes from it.
