Zach, my drum student, is working on "Dipsy Doodle" so I thought I'd better figure out how to play it myself too!
While looking for something else, I found these videos. When I was in high school - I think my senior year - we had a percussion ensemble and played this piece. It was a trip down memory lane as I'd forgotten both the name of the piece as well as the composer. Over the years, I have had some of these rhythms in my head - especially the whistle part because I can't whistle so our Section Leader, who could whistle, did that part.
