30 Days in Chicago? Hell to the No!

I got an email a little while ago announcing the lineup for "Red Bull Sound Select Presents: 30 Days in Chicago" which takes place in November. The email continues that the

"events feature carefully crafted lineups with noteworthy headliners including Young Thug, Migos, Kehlani, Lil Yachty, Mitski, Ibeyi, Whitney, Khalid, Parquet Courts and more, while showcasing the best in emerging music supported by Red Bull Sound Select on each bill including Kweku Collins, Charlotte Day Wilson, Xavier Omär, Pell, Ravyn Lenae, Tennyson, Smino and more. The festival has proven unique by spotlighting rising artists, exposing fans to future superstars while exploring exciting and diverse venues. In keeping with tradition the 30-day festival will be punctuated with surprise collaborations and special guests throughout the month.

Just to be crystal clear, I do not have any plans to spend a single moment of my November 2017 in Chicago, attending these events. I have name recognition knowledge of "Young Thug" and "Migos" but as for the rest of the artists?

Nope.

Nonetheless, I will say I hope their festival is successful because it is for people to hear live bands. That said, I don't know how many of the acts actually have a drummer playing with them. I'd be curious to know, but I won't investigate it further.
