Anti-Word? Me?

Question from co-worker:
Is there a way to do a word doc so that you can have one master doc but you can export an internal, program team and customer facing versions that each have a different subset of the info in the doc?
or some other tool that can do that?
My Answer
You could do that in Confluence more easily than in Word

You would write your text as individual pages and then create what I call a "shell" page that would include the specific sub-pages you want to include for the specific audience.
