Description:
We are looking for a freelance/contractor
Technical Writer to produce high-quality documentation that contributes to the overall success of our products.

Responsibilities
  • Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
  • Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
  • Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
  • Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help, developer guides and end user manuals
  • Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
  • Review, manage and edit release notes for new product features with each release cycle

Requirements
  1. Proven working experience writing API documentation
  2. Experience writing simple shell scripts for REST API
  3. Examples Working knowledge of JSON and XML
  4. Ability to deliver high quality documentation paying attention to detail
  5. Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
  6. Ability to work with minimal guidance
  7. Excellent written and verbal English
  8. Basic familiarity with the SDLC and software development
  9. Experience with Swagger a plus.
