As Karen and I close in on our 20th wedding anniversary, it seems to me that a lot of people I meet, read about, or in some other way interact with, do not take the vows of marriage seriously. In my mind, a wedding day is when you make a covenant - a promise - to your spouse and to God that you do not break.
That said, congratulations to Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich who is engaged to Jessica Miller.
