Your music library and music players are separate

I don't have a license for Bliss, but I'm pretty sure I've linked to articles by Dan Gravell. This article - called Your music library and music players are separate - is a good one to read. I read it because, to me, it is a new concept. I consider my music library and my music player to be the same as I associate my music library as what I listen to through my music player, which is Windows Media Player. What the article proposes is that I should be able to listen to my music library - my actual music files, including the files I created yesterday when I began converting Spindle #32 yesterday - using any music player. It's a very jolting concept, but one that I will investigate further.
