Look at the 4th job listed and tell me how an English major is qualified to be a psychiatrist? Spare me the jokes about how you must be crazy if you were an English major in college, as I was at Mount Mercy College from fall 1988 through spring 1992.

I know my dad didn't mean anything mean or negative when he said this 20+ years ago, but one time, he told me that his perception of English majors was that they are "weird" - I was flabbergasted. I didn't know what to say.
