It's at least 30 minutes prior to the Iowa Hawkeyes finding out if they are in the NCAA Tournament and where they are going to play, if they are in. The "experts" all seem to think Iowa is in. I hope they are right.
Pat Harty wrote this column about how he hopes Iowa plays UCLA, coached by former Iowa head coach Steve Alford in the first round. He makes a good point, but the comments about the story indicate that the players wouldn't get as pumped up about it as the fans, who feel burned by Alford's 8 year reign in Iowa City. I have heard secondhand stories about what a jerk Alford was to those that interacted with him on a regular basis, but have zero firsthand knowledge. Therefore, I don't see myself as having a grudge against him.
That said, to play UCLA in the first round would either ignite a desire to go deep into the tournament or it would simply show that the naysayers in the comments on the above link are right.
