- When I saw this ad on the Quad Cities > Musicians page, I wondered if I was getting a glimpse into my future:
I am a 58 year young drummer/percussionist who is searching for the right musical fit with others that are like minded.
I would love to join OR form a band that would be into playing "The Classic Rock Legends" like - The Eagles, Doobie Brothers, Journey, Styx, Kansas, Boston, Chicago, and so on!!! Doing some cover songs with brass & sax would also be real cool. I find it difficult to meet similar musicians - like myself - who when they put their "heart & soul" into their craft, they get the same joy and fulfillment out of their music!! I currently am in a Worship Band, but feel I want to express myself even more with my drumming!!!
I am located in Monmouth, IL and would certainly love to hear from any other musicians who might want to explore something like I described above. I have a complete Ludwig kit already!!!! Just need the rest of the members to make this all possible. Keyboards, Bass Guitar, Lead & Rhythm Guitar, all with vocals would be a great start!!!! Please E-Mail me if anyone is interested!!
