Technical Writer

Location: Fairfax, VA
We are seeking an experienced technical writer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for composing and effectively communicating an array of both consumer and business focused software specific content. Please have industry related portfolio samples on hand to submit upon request.
Responsibilities:
  • Create written documentation for consumer and business audiences of RoboForm and GoodSync, including but not limited to product manuals, how-to guides, FAQs, tutorials, landing pages, standardized email responses, white papers, and general site/product information.
  • Organize and update help center content categories.
  • Generate, edit, and effectively communicate content specifically geared towards System Administrators.
  • Edit, clarify, and proofread company generated content and public responses
  • Compose easy-to-understand user interface text.
  • Analyze, update, and standardize existing content while focusing on opportunities for enhanced clarification and repurposing.
  • Compose articles and reports on current trends within dedicated space (i.e. password management, cyber security, file backup and synchronization).
Minimum qualifications:
  • 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in basic HTML.
  • Ability to understand and explain highly technical information included in your writing samples.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Knowledge of password management and cloud storage/cloud backup space
