Hawks Hopeful while Panthers Pounce

The Iowa Hawkeyes football team was demolished in the Twin Cities on Saturday, November 8, 2014, 51-14 - a recap is here: http://www.hawkeyesports.com/sports/m-footbl/recaps/110814aad.html. Meanwhile, I sat in Cedar Falls and watched the UNI Panthers football team demolish the 33-0 North Dakota State Bison, 23-3 - a recap is here: http://www.gobison.com/news/2014/11/8/FB_1108142305.aspx

Also, in Hawkeye sports news, the women's soccer team lost to WI in the Big Ten Championship game yesterday - a recap is here: http://www.hawkeyesports.com/sports/w-soccer/recaps/110914aaa.html. Selfishly, I'm okay with them losing because my friend and former head coach Ron Rainey left the Iowa program to go to the east coast. I'm okay with them not having success without Ron. I want them to do well, but not necessarily win a championship the first year he is not there leading the team. Here is how Dartmouth did this year: http://www.ivyleaguesports.com/sports/wsoc/2014-15/standings.
