Prepping for Falling in Reverse 2023-07-08
Falling in Reverse is headlining the concert I will be attending with Alex and Hannah on Saturday, July 8, 2023, a short 19 days (2 weeks, 5 days) away. I admit that I am not overly excited about this concert. I am hoping that Ice 9 Kills, who will be opening for Five Finger Death Punch, who will be opening for Metallica on Sunday, November 5, 2023 - a short 139 days (4 months, 2 weeks, 3 days) away - play a good show.

Hit a Dead End on a Quest
I found the following file - 2010-10-2523-03-37_timesheet_m.xlsx - on one of my EHDs. I attempted to open the file - because I didn't know what it was - and saw that it was password-protected. I don't remember the password as it was assigned to this file 4613 days (12 years, 7 months, 2 weeks, 4 days) ago. It could be a container for "useful" information; it could be a container for "unuseful" information. I don't know. I can't open the file.

Just to Catch Up
Remember Friday, April 10? I was ecstatic because two of my all-time favorite bands were going to play in Iowa. On Saturday, 8-19, Spitalfield plays in Des Moines and Bayside plays in Council Bluffs. On Sunday, 8-20, Spitalfield plays in Council Bluffs. I didn't know that was the actual daily schedule for the two day festival in Council Bluffs when I wrote the following post, but I know it now: Spitalfield and Bayside.
I also learned that Extreme and Living Colour are playing at the Paramount Theater in Cedar Rapids on 8-19-2023.
I also learned that the legendary metal band W.A.S.P. and Armoured Saint are playing in Clive on 8-19-2023.
How do I choose which of these legendary concerts I actually attend? It's a difficult decision.
I have an answer: don't decide. Instead, go with your family to an Iowa Cubs baseball game in Des Moines. I am not going to see any of those concerts on 8-19-2023. I am going to watch baseball.

Bad Rumor Schedule
Obviously, the June 2nd date at Checkers has come and gone, but the rest of the gigs below are upcoming. I think it's pretty awesome that for the final 6 months of 2023, we have 10 gigs. Selfishly, I would like to find a gig in November to avoid not playing a gig for the 48 days (1 month, 2 weeks, 3 days) between October 14th at Tap on Market in Monticello and December 1st at Checkers in Cedar Rapids. Nothing is in the works for a November gig at the moment. I will note that last year, we played at J&A Tap in North Liberty on the Friday after Thanksgiving, which was a good gig since I live in North Liberty.
