Was 2025 an Odd-Time Drumming Year?

Since 2025 is an odd-numbered year, I have decided that one of my goals (not a New Year's Resolution) is to work on my ability to play drums in an odd-time, meaning, not in "4/4" or "3/4" or "6/8" - those are the primary time signatures of the tunes that I play when I play drums, whether it is with Bad Rumor or at Saint Thomas More. The video below is 18:00 long and by Nate at the 80/20 Drummer. It's only 1-2-2025 and there's 363 days (11 months, 4 weeks, 1 day) until the end of this year. I'm going to create a reminder post that will be published on 12-31-2025 with a link back to this post. I'll predict right now that on 12-31-2025, I have NOT spent a lot of time on my odd-time drumming. There, I said it. https://www.the8020drummer.com/blog/odd-meters - The "Ultimate Guide" to Odd Meters on Drums

Drums are Meant to be Shared

From https://www.the8020drummer.com/blog/gianlucca, I strongly agree with this phrase:

---

... the Italian instagram sensation has a message - drums are meant to be played in real life. One can make a career out of "content", he says, but it's important to play with humans.

---

It was not that long ago when I seriously considered selling my Ludwig Vistalite set because I couldn't find my Ideal Band. I am fairly certain I wrote about how "down" I was about finding other musicians to play drums with after so many false starts and false hopes that I had finally found the others I had sought.

I have been reading the blog on https://www.the8020drummer.com for at least a year, maybe even longer, and I just noticed that the title of the blog post is under the embedded video, which is a layout option unavailable in the Blogger.com site.
