Creeping Death: The Band, Not the Song

Wow. I'm surprised the drummer doesn't have a double bass drums. I think the guitarist is very energetic with all his kicks and jumping around. I liked enough of what I heard to seek out more:

Birthday

Lars Ulrich's 51st birthday is today. I don't think there is any way the man is ever NOT going to be my favorite drummer. I sincerely hope that the recent statements by Robert Trujillo about being in the process of "blueprinting" songs for the next release means that I hear a new Metallica release before the end of 2015.

Getting Cold

Now that Metallica has announced they are going to play "Antartica" - I don't know if that's how you refer to an ice continent that has no cities - the obvious joke is that they need to include "Trapped Under Ice" in the set list. This is a track from their second release and it has never really gotten a lot of popularity.

Master of Puppets.... Really?

Megan and I were in the den earlier today. The den is in a state of chaos. When I've been in the den the last two weeks, I've either been working or checking important stuff like Facebook. The CDs I've been listening to have been accumulating in a stack.

Somehow, the case for Metallica's "Master of Puppets" ended up on the kids' PC's desk.

"Master of Puppets? Really?" she asks.

So I start singing (from memory)
