Two Nights in IL, 0 in IA

True story. When Megan was in elementary school, one day she asked me if I had heard of The Police. The reason for this inquiry was because one of The Jonas Brothers had been seen by her wearing a The Police t-shirt. I remember this question because until I knew that at least one member of The Jonas Brothers had at least familiarity with The Police I had never given The Jonas Brothers even a breadcrumb of credibility. Of course, whether the member who had on that t-shirt can actually name a tune by The Police is something I don't know or want to know. I'm content to believe a respect for The Police exists. Who knows, maybe there is love for this tune by The Police?

The purpose of this post is to document that the Jonas Brothers are flying over Iowa on their current tour. As shown in bold and italic below, they play in St. Louis, drive through Iowa to get to St. Paul, then east to Milwaukee, then south to Chicago, then across Iowa to get to Kansas City. They do come back to the Midwest long enough to play Omaha, NE, on my 50th birthday.

No, I won't be in Omaha, NE, that night...

Wishlist for Linking to Word Documents in RH 2019

Now that I'm logged into the website I mentioned in my previous post, I came upon a post I wrote in July 2018 within the discussion forums:

Wishlist for Linking to Word Documents in RH 2019

Here's some ideas that would make the RH 2019 link to Word functionality exceptionally awesome!
  1. Add the ability to add Word files in multiple directories at the same time. To link to these 3 files requires doing the linking process 3 times – takes a lot of time.
    |
    Dir1\dir2\2file.docx
    Dir1\dir3\3file.docx
    Dir1\dir4\4file.docx
    |
It would be great to select a root folder and be able to select "Include Subfolders" check box and then pop up a window to let me choose a root folder. I know that kind of thing can be done as I have a macro that allows me to select a root directory and run a process to update all the fields in all the Word documents in the sub-folders under that folder. In the example above, I would select "Dir1" and then have the dir2\2file.docx, the dir3\3file.docx, and the dir4\4file.docx folders all be linked to my RoboHelp project.
  2. When you're mapping styles to CSS, I have a huge list of styles. What I don't have is a way to identify the Word document that had a style that made it be added to the list.
  3. Add the ability to select a folder in the Project Manager and update the Word documents in that folder "only" - I have 1400ish Word files and usually have less than 20 to update. Doing each one at a time takes too long and doing an "update all" too long as well. I group the linked Word files in folders so being able to select just that folder would be awesome!

This is Me Today

Wednesday, I tried to log in with a URL I have as a bookmark. It has been a while since I accessed this specific website.

I entered the user ID and password and received an error message. I submitted a ticket to the vendor with my information.

Thursday, in their response, the tech support person confirmed my user ID is associated with an active account. I tried it again and it still didn't work, so I responded to that reply, saying that I still was having an issue.

Friday (yes, today) I received a reply to that reply, asking me to confirm the URL I was using. It was a different URL and when I clicked it and tried it with my user ID and password and received NO error message. Thus, it was a PEBKAC.
