- Alex, my son, turns 28 on 10-22-2026
- Alex is married to Hannah
- Alex and Hannah have Wilson, the Austrailian Shepherd
- My father lives in the Solon Senior Living Center and turns 89 on 4-25-2026.
- I'm looking forward to a lot of things in life.
- There are unresolved conflicts in my family and I feel powerless to effect change.
- My father is unhappy that I am working on selling the house in CR and thinks he should be able to live there alone - he cannot do so.

Bad Rumor Schedule
Obviously, the June 2nd date at Checkers has come and gone, but the rest of the gigs below are upcoming. I think it's pretty awesome that for the final 6 months of 2023, we have 10 gigs. Selfishly, I would like to find a gig in November to avoid not playing a gig for the 48 days (1 month, 2 weeks, 3 days) between October 14th at Tap on Market in Monticello and December 1st at Checkers in Cedar Rapids. Nothing is in the works for a November gig at the moment. I will note that last year, we played at J&A Tap in North Liberty on the Friday after Thanksgiving, which was a good gig since I live in North Liberty.

Next Bad Rumor Gig is approaching!
June 2, 2023, is also a big day for me because it is the next Bad Rumor gig at Checkers in Cedar Rapids. It will be our first gig, as a 4 piece, since 12-30-2022 as we played as a trio on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at O'Malley's with Tom Giblin. We rehearsed on Wednesday, 5-24-2023, at Russ's house and are planning to go to the Whiskey Jo's jam session tomorrow night. It is my final opportunity to play with Brian, Kris, and Russ until June 2 as I am leaving for Des Moines on Sunday, 5-28-2023, and will not be returning to North Liberty until either Thursday, 6-1 - more on that trip in a future post.
