Knotfest 2021 in Indianoloa, IA, is fast approaching - only 36 days away! It seems surreal that it will be 1534 days (4 years, 2 months, 1 week, 4 days) between the last time I saw Megadeth in concert at Chicago Open Air 2017 and Knotfest 2021. I was thinking about Megadeth in relation to this article from Blabbermouth.net in which the writer Dave Mustaine Explains Why He Was So 'Jealous' Of Metallica's Success. I have no inside information as to whether Mustaine's "jealousy" of Metallica's success is why "Mechanix" is on the Megadeth setlist or not. What is special about a song called "Mechanix"? It's basically a demo / early version of Metallica's "The Four Horsemen" - except that the lyrics are different.
