On the temptation to purchase AJFA - 8 CDs - 146 Tunes for $110.99

I'm drooling. You can't see it, but I am. I am trying to justify dropping $110.99 on my favorite Metallica album . . . OR, I can drop $7.99 / month for Amazon Unlimited. Here are the details: ...And Justice for All (Remastered Deluxe Box Set). Long story short is that there are 146 tunes across 8 CDs. Some are previously unreleased riffs and demos of the 9 tunes that eventually became the 9 tunes on the album. Since its release, I have touted this album as being flawless . . . and I still believe it is. It is on one side of the spectrum and, on the other side, is the Metallica / Lou Reed collaboration called Lulu. I'll go on record here and state for the record that, despite some defending the Lulu album - In defence of Lulu: why Metallica's most despised album is misunderstood By Stephen Hill 2 days ago Metal Hammer - I would NEVER EVER purchase a Remastered Deluxe Box Set of Lulu, which, of course, doesn't justify purchasing the ...And Justice for All (Remastered Deluxe Box Set) album - I just didn't want to devote an entire blog post to the crap that is Lulu.

I have a Samsung S4 cell phone. I can check my email account easily. Lately, especially when I'm not sitting at a PC, I forward emails back to myself so that they are filtered into a specific folder I have set up for that specific purpose. My intention was to create separate blog posts with commentary about each link. However, I realize that is not realistic. Instead, I'm going to compile these links I send to myself and use labels to make the subject of the links retrievable in the future.

Proud of Lulu?

Regarding Metallica and their experiment called "Lulu" - Lars, you know I love you man, but "Lulu" is *not* a good release! I stand by my review: http://www.dailyvault.com/toc.php5?review=7020

Hello World!

Lots going on. One of the things is that Metallica and Lou Reed released "Lulu" and I reviewed it on Dailyvault.com. I gave it an F. I hated it. I don't think I will ever listen to that horrible release ever again. It reminded me of Gene Simmons' "Asshole" release, which was also simply awful. Still, the two entities are trying their best to ignore that the release only sold 13,000 copies the first week. "Lulu" is a commercial flop.
