Metallica - Hellfest 2024
Each and every time I see the footage from the movie and the opening notes of The Ecstasy of Gold, I get chills. While I'm not going to see Metallica in Nashville in May 2024, I hope that I will hear that intro at a Metallica concert in the future.
I still say that Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City would be able to host Metallica on their next stadium tour, whenever they go out on tour. I'm going to speculate it will be awhile before they go out on tour after the current tour ends - they typically like to take a break.
However, because they spread their current tour over two years, maybe they continue with that pattern. I really liked what they did with two nights in each city with a day between.
