The following guiding principles have been established for this page and have not been changed over time, but edited below because I like writing different words to convey the same idea. Actually, no, see Single Sourcing Rant
I often use the title of the article, so the decision can be made whether to click the link or not, but sometimes, I'm pressed for time. If it looks interesting, click it.
This is not a "fair and balanced" page. I repeat, "This is not a "fair and balanced" page. I make ZERO attempt to have an equal number of "conservative" links and "liberal" links on this page.

A message from an independent to my liberal friends...
Keith Richards once said there’s no such thing as bad publicity, meaning that bad publicity still keeps a person in the public eye.
Most of my liberal friends seem as though they are still totally obsessed with Donald Trump even though the guy is for all practical purposes, gone. He has no real power to do anything now except decide who to hire to mow the lawn at his house in Florida.
I understand that most of them can’t bring themselves to say a word about the guy they helped get elected this last election, our current president, because that guy has turned out to be a complete disaster with a capital D. Most of them know this whether they’ll admit it or not, which they can’t because doing so, to them, would be a form of eviscerating their personal identities.
I get all that. But what they as individuals and their corporate media don’t seem to understand is that by continuing to demonize and bash the guy post-mortem they’re keeping him in the public eye, which actually sustains for him a power base, a poteum (sic) podium, so to speak, to try to run for office again.
If you don’t want Trump to run again, and I personally prefer that he not, then stop talking about him. Stop running news stories about him every day. Stop making posts about him. Stop giving him publicity. Focus on the guy who’s actually in power now and admit his failures and incompetence. Look, it doesn’t matter, liberals, conservatives, independents like me, we’ve all backed people at some point in our lives and regretted it later. Trust me, your identities and self-esteem will heal, and you’ll be perfectly fine.
Politics desperately needs new blood. There are millions of people in this country. Trump and Biden are just two guys. If you don’t want the same old recycled politicians that you don’t like, then stop giving them a platform by continually shoving and re-shoving them in everyone’s faces.
Or to use one of your favorite liberal phrases, move on.
