Ranking the 6 WWE Superstars Most Likely to Dethrone Roman Reigns
Hah! This article makes the case for Cody Rhodes to dethrone Roman Reigns whereas my previous post was a link to an article that made the case for Rhodes NOT dethroning Roman Reigns! I absolutely love articles about pro wrestling.
If I could write out the way Roman Reigns loses, I would go with Sami Zayn, who is not even mentioned in the article. His history with being in the Bloodline was awesome and I would book him for winning the Royal Rumble and getting the opportunity for winning at WrestleMania 40. When Zayn has the mic, he is compelling enough to win me over. Plus, he used to be a joke with awful defeats over so many years. Triple H should reward him with being able to rise to the top. He has proven himself to be able to make a crowd be behind him and his story tells us that he has worked so hard for it. He would get the other good guys out there to support him and back him up.
I also think that Orton, Rhodes, Zayn, Owens, Rollins, and Punk need to form a group with a name. The Bloodline has a name for the heels and I think the good guys need to formally declare that they are on the same page. It should have happened before now but it is not too late. A name that says that they are an alliance with the purpose of eradicating the WWE of the Bloodline. I also think Jey Uso needs to reunite with his brother again. Maybe Zayn and Uso are the final two in the Royal Rumble?
I am not on-board yet with LA Knight as the next big thing for WWE. Maybe I should be, but I am not there yet. I am also not on-board with Rollins being the one to take Reigns from the top of the WWE. He has a great feud with CM Punk and putting Punk and Rollins in the same stable as uneasy allies? I think that would be awesome. Finally, I am not on-board with Sikoa winning the title, even if it means more Paul Heyman promos. Sikoa needs to speak more and develop his character on the mic. Otherwise, he is doing the Brock Lesnar routine... BORING!! I want the story to be told on the mic as well as during the match.
2024 ought to be very interesting. While I have not been watching WWE on Monday nights, I am seriously considering doing so in 2024, especially if the story becomes more captivating...

This post is post #1001 in 2023. I have now matched the number from 2022, which I really wanted to reach in 2023. As you can see, I had a streak of less than 1000 posts in the two years prior to 2022 (2020 with 742 and 2021 with 621) which I don't understand that two year trend to this day. Randy Orton Returns from Injury at WWE Survivor Series WarGames, Reveals Cody Rhodes
Sight unseen, I am unsure if Randy Orton will actually return to the WWE as a Babyface or as a heel. As the article states, he had been a popular BF before being injured and needing surgery in 5-2022 - yes, over a year ago. I hope that they handle this in a way that makes me smile, which would be to help secure the win... before RKOing Uso since he put Orton through a table the last time he was in a WWE match... I am interested in reading about it on 11-27...

Tonight, Karen and I are going to the Riverside Casino to see 38 Special in concert. Originally, we were going to be a part of a group of 4 going to the concert. However, Kathy [of Kathy and Mike] found out that she has to work late so she gave up her tickets and is not going tonight. We learned about that on Monday.
38 Special is a unique band for me. I don't own any of their albums and I know most of the tunes in the set list I found on setlist.fm, which I think is the sign of 38 Special being a really good band. I *think* I used to own a copy of the following album, which is a greatest hits, but as far as any studio albums? I don't think I've ever owned one of their albums.

Why would Tony Stark give the E.D.I.T.H. system to Peter Parker and not War Machine, Nick Fury, Captain America or Falcon?

Tony was still angry at everyone on the left, especially Cap. He felt that Thanos only won because Cap wasn't there when they needed him. He said so when the two met face to face. And he felt the others had made the wrong choice.
War Machine was under the control of the military. If he had been given E.D.I.T.H. to him, it would have been turned over to the government.
Stark didn't trust Fury.
Vision was dead, the Black Panther was head of a foreign government and the Black Widow had turned on him.
Spider-Man was the only one he felt he could trust.
But, he has to have made that bequest before the final battle with Thanos. He was hoping to survive and continue to mentor Peter.
Was it too much to trust to a teen-ager? Yes, but he'd already given Peter a spider-suit that could kill on command and was prepared to invite Peter into the Avengers. Either he saw that Peter could be trusted despite his youth or he had a major blind-spot about Peter.

Tony probably recognized that Peter is the sort of person who will do what's right regardless of personal cost. In Infinity War Peter insisted on going along into space with Iron Man to rescue Doctor Strange.
In Spider-Man: No way Home Peter proved that his moral center is better than Doctor Strange's. While Strange was willing to send five people back to their own timelines and almost certain doom, Peter insisted that they could be "fixed" first, even if it meant fighting Strange and risking his own life. This justified Stark's confidence in him, even if Tony wasn't there to see it.

Typically, when I see a mistake in someone else's writing, it is a typo or using "its" when the writer meant "it's" in their sentence. Such mistakes are also single offenders. However, this morning, on a Monday, I saw this article - The 25 worst cover songs of all time, ranked -- Artists like Madonna, Britney Spears, and David Bowie are among the big names who've turned beloved classics into mangled monstrosities -- By Stephen Thomas Erlewine--Published-Wednesday 8:00AM.Not only did I see a typo, but I also increased my vocabulary by one word. I used italics to indicate the error and bold to indicate the new word that I added to my vocabulary.:

Today is Monday, 11-13-2023, which means the following typos have existed for 5 days and either no one has informed the author. The first mistake is that "doesn't pretend be comprehensive" is missing the word "to" in the sentence. The sentence should be: "doesn't pretend to be comprehensive." The word I added to my vocabulary is mete, which I initially believed was a typo. However, mete is a word and this is the definition I found through the Internet:

I'll just say it: the 4 faces need to acknowledge that they are the 4 good guys and while they may want Rollins' title, they need to create a simple and catchy name for their alliance. Call them ZURR, RUZR, - I don't care as long as they are not known as 4 individuals. They could even have a segment where they discuss their name and have each look surprised by the suggestions from each other backstage before agreeing upon the ZURR name. ZURR is NOT the best name for a stable but that's kinda the point: they are a team for the next PPV but after their match is done? They don't have to be an alliance forever.
