2025-07-14-Robin Trower Concert in Des Moines

I went with Matthew to Des Moines to see Robin Trower. I didn't do my homework beforehand so I didn't know any of the tunes. It was a fantastic concert and while I don't feel like I need to go see him in concert again, I do feel like I saw a legendary 80 year-old British guitarist shred on stage with minimal equipment. There was a group of amps on RT's side of the stage, then the drummer, then a group of amps on the bassist's side of the stage. RT and the bassist didn't really interact with each other as far as moving from one side of the stage to the other or anything like that - Bad Rumor does more during a gig as far as interactions between Kris, Russ, and Erik than what RT and the bassist did last night - and you know, really, that's okay.
