EVERY pro wrestling site predicted that Brock Lesnar would lose his Championship belt last night at Wrestlemania 34. NO one predicted Lesnar would be champion today, April 9, 2018, but guess what? He is! It was considered a 'given' that Roman Reigns would win - EVERY ONE got it WRONG!! Per Bleacher Report, fans chanted "This is awful!" during the match!
EVERY pro wrestling site predicted who Braun Strowman would choose as his tag team partner. Surprising everyone, he chose a kid from the audience, named Nicholas, and then proceeded to manhandle Cesaro & Sheamus, which means a kid named Nicholas and Braun Strowman are the tag team champions.
EVERY pro wrestling site predicted Bray Wyatt would be reintroduced as a different character. Surprising everyone, Bray Wyatt showed up in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal and helped Matt Hardy win!
It's kind of like when EVERY political site predicted Hillary Clinton would win in a landslide...

Hard to See Two Things
These are the things I want to point out about Wrestlemania 34, which is today, 4/8/2018.
- On Monday, 4/3/2017, there were two seats available in section N, each for $2000. I am more than flabbergasted that the WWE would have fans willing to spend that much for a professional wrestling PPV before any matches are known. It's amazing.

Want to Irk Me? Use MS Word like THIS
I'm permanently scarred from working at the Unnamed Hellhole in southern Iowa - that's the only conclusion I can arrive at when I feel the disgust flowing through my bloodstream as I view a MS Word document that is formatted like the following:
The Unnamed Hellhole in southern Iowa gets all the credit / blame because that is where the other writer in the department with the title "Senior Technical Writer" insisted upon using InDesign entirely the wrong way. There is no justification to manually type the TOC entries, the leader dots, and the page number. There is no justification to print the 100+ pages in the document to manually check that the page number in the TOC matches the body of the document. There is no justification to state that the "rule" for using one or two spaces after a period is to "use one unless it looks funny, then use two."
I have no doubt in my mind that the aforementioned ex-co-worker would have seen nothing wrong with the screen capture above.

- Securing cloud environments, including: public, private, or hybrid cloud services that meet federal guidelines and regulations and NIST Special Publication best practice (e.g. NIST SP 500-292, NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 4)
- Considerable experience writing and developing detailed documentation for technical systems.
- Implementing, assessing, and evidencing NIST 800-53 rev.4 security controls in a cloud environment for the Federal Government
- Designing, implementing, and configuring secure cloud architecture solutions within Cloud Service Provider environments (e.g. AWS, Azure) and within customer private clouds
- Supporting project teams during system design to promote the effective deployment of IT assets to cloud environments in a secure and compliant manner
- Cloud computing infrastructure, application development methodologies, best practices, and available and emergent services in CSP environments to support these functions
- Available cloud security solutions focused on: Data Governance, Risk Management, Endpoint Security, Network Visibility and Advanced Threat Monitoring and Management
- Migration of infrastructure, data and applications out of legacy data centers into cloud environments
- Security requirements applicable to Federal agencies with health care responsibilities (e.g., HIPAA, PCI, FedRAMP, FISMA, SOX, TIC, NIST, etc.)
- Review and assess customer SIEM deployments and required data/security views monitored for internal IT assets for applicability/feasibility in cloud environments

On a Serious Note
My Mom had one brother, Jim, who died in 1997. I haven't seen or heard from his wife, Mary, since the funeral.
My Dad had two brothers: Herman, who died in the early 1990s, and Al.
My dad was the youngest of the three of them. Recently, I learned that Al has passed away. I realized I had not mentioned his death on this blog when I came across this picture of him:
Rest in Peace Uncle Al. You were a good guy. Of my three uncles, Al was the nicest to me. That said, I don't recall ever having an adult conversation with him or when I saw him.
There was no wake or funeral service for him.
