This is a band that used to be based out of Iowa City. The lead singer, Ari, graduated from Iowa City West and has been "Destrophy" since then. Now, finally, after years of hard work, their song "Reconnect" is the theme song for a TNA wrestler. TNA, in case you don't know, is a competitor of the WWE or what used to be the WWF, the promotion that you are probably the most familiar with even if you never watch (or admit to watching) pro wrestling. So anyways, this is Destrophy. I like it. I like the energy in the tempo.

In other news, didn't do so hot @ the casino last night. Could never set foot in Riverside's casino in my life.
Finally, played drums last night @ 5:15 Mass. Sounded good. I took some more liberties with the songs that were in 3/4 time and just played around the electronic drums with less rigid timekeeping. The tempo was solid but I avoided a lot of standard parts (boom-chick-chick / boom-chick-chick) that you normally hear in a 3/4 song.
This week is busy - lots of after work committments and things going on. I counted up the days and we are going to spend 24 nights in our camper this summer. I cannot wait!
