No Life Preserver

As I wrote about on the Reconversion page, Drive Savers couldn't save my drive. Thus, I am embarking upon the reconverting of all my CDs.

Again.

As if I really have the time to sit in the den and invest the time required. I don't.

Here's kind of an odd thought. What if I don't reconvert all of these CDs? What if I review all of my CDs and decide whether or not I want to actually be able to listen to it? Seriously, do I really need to have these awful albums I own on my EHD:
  1. Meat Loaf's "Storytellers"
  2. Juggernaut's "Black Pagoda"
  3. the Archers of Loaf's album I slammed in my review in ICON years ago .... I don't think it was Vee Vee that I despised, but it's the only name that comes to mind at the moment
  4. Dokken's "Shadowlife"
  5. Metallica's "Lulu"
Is it more important to have a large number of music on my EHD or to have only those tunes that I would actually listen to? In the past, I've never pondered the "convert what I want to listen to" alternative when approaching my CD to MP3 conversions - I just converted them all because I had them all.

I have less than 20 CDs to do in order to finish my first spindle so this project is definitely in its infancy.
