Tried to Be The Solution

In early 2016, when I was looking for a technical writer job, I tried to be hired as a technical editor at Channel Fusion. It was only one of the many jobs I was applying for as I frantically searched for a new career step. This means that it was, roughly, 6 months ago when they were looking to fill that position and 22 hours ago, they posted the following ad. Upon seeing it, my initial thought was, "Would I be looking for a job now if I had been hired there?"

Looking at those qualifications now, I would have loved to ramp up my understanding of Jquery and Excel and using databases with websites. Those are all awesome things I don't know enough to speak intelligently about them. I also think that if I came at this job at a Bachelor's degree, the HR person might have thought my salary requirement would be too out of range. They did say they'd keep my resume on file... <grin> Too bad it's full time.
