How many bands cannot reunite their most successful lineup due to death?
- Pantera
- Cream
- Alice in Chains
- Nirvana
- Led Zeppelin
- Linkin Park
- Stone Temple Pilots
- Soundgarden
- Metallica
... and the list goes on and on. Skid Row has all 5 members alive and yet, the persistent calls for a reunion with Sebastian Bach are going ignored, per
SKID ROW Bassist On Persistent Calls For Reunion With SEBASTIAN BACH: 'Some Fans Just Don't Like Change, And That's A Shame' I would argue, though, that it's not about accepting or not accepting change - it's about there being an opportunity
right now to play a gig or two - maybe just have Sebastian Bach come up on stage for a song or two at one gig, without previously announcing it is going to happen, just to say, "Know what? We hear the fans and we'll do this for the fans. It's not permanent, but it's a taste of what could have been had things not gone the way they did." I might even have Bach sing a tune from a post-Bach album. For his part, it seems Sebastian Bach "gets" what is slipping through their hands as the same article quotes him saying the following:
Bach has consistently expressed his desire to reunite with his former bandmates, telling Loudwire in 2016: "I don't have any reason why not to do that. I have no animosity towards anybody in SKID ROW, and the fact that we're all, five of us, still alive in this world is a pretty amazing feat. So I would someday definitely like to hear the five guys who made those records play live together again. Yes, I would. 'Cause I'm a fan too." He added: "I'm up for it, if they are."
