Disclaimer: This has never happened to me, I've never known anyone that has been offered a job and then had that offer rescinded, and I'm not looking for a new job. I came to know of the Ask the Headhunter site during my job search in January 2016 and I subscribe to his newsletter - it's the only reason I saw this article.
