Just Joined

I read this article https://theresurgent.com/2020/01/31/dershowitz-tries-to-convict-trump-paul-tries-to-get-roberts-to-break-the-law-whats-next and it mentioned the Chewbacca defense. Being a Star Wars fan, I had to find out what was meant by it. Thus, I now have a user ID / password for https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Main_Page.

My Music Collection

Let's say I rounded 10087 hours, 24 minutes, and 44 seconds "up" to 10088 hours and divided that by 24 hours in a day. In order to listen to my entire music collection, I would need to listen to my music collection - non-stop - for 420.3333333333333 days - so, rounding up, 421 days. 421 days from today, 1/30/2020, is Friday, March 26, 2021. Wow!

AC-DC is not Metal

Okay, I can't go with the "hard rock" label being applied to any of these bands. I believe the genre of "metal" is wide enough and vast enough to include music with all sorts of tempos and styles.
I have that opinion because I watched this:

Counting the Instances of a Text String

From Counting the Instances of a Text String:
THIS is the macro code for providing statistics for an entire Word document:

Sub CountString()
Dim MyDoc As String
Dim txt As String
Dim t As String

MyDoc = ActiveDocument.Range.Text
txt = InputBox("Text to find")
t = Replace(MyDoc, txt, "")
MsgBox (Len(MyDoc) - Len(t)) / Len(txt) & " occurrences of " & txt
End Sub

Note the comment in the above post:

I couldn't get this to work in my version of Word. It would only give me stats for the whole document, not my selection. I am using Word 2016.
To get it to work properly, I just changed
MyDoc = ActiveDocument.Range.Text
to
MyDoc = Selection.Text

THIS is the macro code for providing statistics for selected text within a Word document:

Sub CountString()
Dim MyDoc As String
Dim txt As String
Dim t As String

MyDoc = Selection.Text
txt = InputBox("Text to find")
t = Replace(MyDoc, txt, "")
MsgBox (Len(MyDoc) - Len(t)) / Len(txt) & " occurrences of " & txt
End Sub

7 to 10 Prep

My work laptop runs Windows 7, which is no longer supported. I need to prepare to be upgraded to Windows 10. I don't want to "forget" what I have installed on my laptop so I went looking for a way to get a list of installed programs. I found this Generate a List of Installed Programs in Windows

Never Saw This Until Last Night

Nope

Received the email below about a festival in Lenox, MA, in July 2020. There's zero chance of me attempting to work out going to MA to see this show. It's an interesting poster - Breaking Benjamin is a "bigger" band than Quiet Riot, but it's Quiet Riot's graphic that dominates. That said, if this was being held in Des Moines or Moline or even Waterloo, I would consider going to it.

Since I'm curious, I dug around a bit and found this site - Riot & Rebels with Quiet Riot, Molly Hatchet and BLACKFOOT - which does not list Breaking Benjamin as a band on the bill. Who is wrong?
