About the Team

We are looking for an experienced Senior UX Product Designer that is excited about designing interactions, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and user interfaces that delight and meet our business needs and that delight our users.

As the Senior UX Product Designer, you will have the opportunity to design engaging and intuitive experiences for customers on our SaaS web and mobile platforms. You will be a vital contributor to the overall product vision and strategy, working closely with our highly collaborative, global, and cross-functional teams and reporting directly to the VP of Product.
More About What You Will Be Doing
- Shaping the vision, interoperability, and user experiences of ProjectManager’s next-generation platform during a time of transformational growth
- Providing vision and judgment in leading high-impact design projects and driving design decisions based on product/ business goals, user insights, and competitive analysis
- Creating and iterating design solutions via wireframes, high fidelity and interactive prototypes for our web and mobile apps
- Defining and optimizing information hierarchy through font sizes, colors, styles, spacing between visual elements for our information-heavy UI
- Evolving our design system for consistent UX across our web and mobile apps
- Driving a cohesive customer user experience throughout, from start to end; from gathering research to progressively iterating and improving the product experience with subsequent releases
- Gathering strategic intelligence to provide insight regarding the market, trends, and behaviors to best support the evolving needs of the team
- Collaborating closely with our product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams and stakeholders throughout the design and development cycle
What You Will Need
- 5+ years of UX experience designing responsive web and native mobile applications with a portfolio of launched work
- Willingness to take ownership of design initiatives, including scheduling & leading design reviews with stakeholders
- Experience designing accessible products through a broad knowledge of accessibility principles and how they are applied
- Ambition and the drive to see big initiatives from concept to production. Knowledge of product release cycles and the role that iterative design plays
- Strong ability to effectively communicate design solution and processes
- Ability to bring your designs to life with prototypes
- Expert knowledge of industry tools for the entire design lifecycle, such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Invision, Zeplin, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc
- You enjoy and have experience working cross functionally and you embrace feedback and like to iterate collaboratively
- You crave opportunities to engage in and have experience with user research and user-validation

Interesting Job
While I wouldn't move to Austin, TX, to do this job, I will say that I like the idea of doing this type of job. I don't necessarily have the background to actually do or succeed in this role - I'm just saying I like the idea of being a UX Designer.
