In the world of jazz drumming, Buddy Rich always gets the spotlight. I never saw BR, but I met LB when he played at Kirkwood. I took both kids with me to see him. I am glad that I did! He was so gracious and very nice to both kids and I when we got up to him for autographs. I will never forget meeting him.
