I think that the Easter season has both my favorite and least favorite Bible passages.
My least favorite is the Passion, when the crowd demands for God's son to be put on a cross for my sins. The crowd demands that Barrabus be set free instead. Also, I don't like how Peter denies Jesus Christ three times. I feel uncomfortable every time I hear the story.
On the flip side, hearing about how the disciples were running to the tomb is my favorite verse. Running to go see Jesus is a powerful challenge to me. Do I really run to Jesus Christ or do I shout out to crucify him in my words and deeds? It's a challenge for me to live life in the knowledge that Jesus Christ died for my sins.
