Alex Van Halen is a legendary drummer and, despite what Karen would say, he is the reason I wanted to name any son of mine "Alex" - that's the truth. Naming a son Alex is actually a compromise as I would have loved to have named a son "Lars" - after Metallica's Lars Ulrich. Meanwhile, Dave Lombardo (ex-Slayer) really has it as well. He is amazing in the video below.
