Editor's Note: Today, on the 24th anniversary of Nirvana releasing their album called "Nevermind" is the first time I've ever felt the need to have a "Nirvana" tag on this blog.
Nirvana sucked. They had odd guitar tones, their singer mumbled, and their drummer (Dave Grohl) played too simple and didn't contribute to what I heard when I heard "Smells Like Teen Spirit" the first time. Then I heard the entire release. I wasn't any more impressed. At an Old Stew gig at Bonehead's in 1992, our guitarist Bulldog started to play "Smells Like Teen Spirit" only to generate our vocalist Shoebox remarking that "you can't understand what he's singing anyway" - that sums up what I thought of them as well.
