Of course, now, I'm getting messages about permissions and trying to open y:\music_shell\date. I went into the properties of the drive and am changing all files on the drive to be "write-enabled" so now I wait as messages like the one below flash by for every file on the drive:
The struggle continues! All I want is to be able to get into my Excel file that stores our monthly bills information so I can pay the Discover card, which is due today.
