I just went to access my Excel file that I store on the g: drive and, because I'm running the CHKDSK, it said the file was unavailable, which makes sense. I am now just hoping that whenever the CHKDSK finishes, that the drive is fine. While I have my music files backed up, I don't have a backup of my Excel file. It just hit me that if my g: drive were to die, like, "now," I would be screwed.
