7000 Posts

If all of my scheduled posts were published today instead of when they are scheduled to be published, I would have 7000 posts on this blog!

I posted my first post on 11/26/2007, which means for 10 years, 10 months, 4 weeks (3985 days) I've been writing my opinions here. Over the course of those 3985 days, I average 1.744 posts a day. There are 33 days until my 11 year anniversary, which will mean I've existed 4018 days. To average 2 posts / day (4018 x 2), I need to be at 8036 published posts. I am at 6952, which means I'm 1084 short. 1084 / 33 days = 32.84848484848485, which I'll round up to 33 posts / day. 

It's a lot of words for a very simple conclusion: I'm not going to average 2 posts a day on this blog's 11th anniversary.
