No Winning for DD

So, in the middle of an important task, the Republican Governor didn't take a phone call from President Trump. Here's the question. If he HAD answered the President's phone call, how on earth could he have a conversation with all of the press watching him? That wouldn't have gone well. Additionally, if he HAD answered the phone call, the press would have accused the Governor of being swayed by President Trump, even if there would be no evidence to support that accusation.
