Serial Comma Lives

I'm going to confess to loving the serial comma. For anyone who might not know, the serial comma is used in a sentence when listing multiple things prior to the word "and" most commonly.

In the image in this post, the serial comma was used prior to the word and. Using the serial comma is not as common as it was. If I'm being honest, I feel like I didn't know about the serial comma until Miss Markey's language arts class in 6th grade. She was also the teacher who taught me the list of helping verbs which I can recite today. You know (list refined by Copilot)

I loved remembering Miss Markey's language arts class during the writing of this post. I don't believe I have ever mentioned her name on this blog.
