The Knicks defeated the Spurs, 107-106 tonight in New York. It is the largest comeback in Finals history. Jalen Brunson led the way for the Knicks with 36 points on 12-25 from the field (3-7 from 3) to go along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds. For the Spurs, Victor Wembanyama had a team-high 24 points on 9-25 from the field (2-8 from 3). The Knicks lead the series 3-1.
Tonight marked just the 5th time in the play-by-play era (since 1998) that a team erased a 20+ point deficit in the 4th quarter to win a playoff game.
The Knicks have two of those five wins — both in the last month. Tonight's win was the first time it's been done in a Finals game.
