President Hillary

Today is Saturday, May 9, 2015, which is a full 1.5 years (550 days) prior to the 2016 election for president held last night. Just a few days ago, Bill O'Reilly wrote about the liberal press & their treatment of Hillary Clinton. As of today, Hillary is considered the frontrunner. VP Joe Biden is considering a run. Regarding Joe Biden's potential (at this moment) bid, I find this hilarious. Biden is ranked third behind 1) Hillary and 2) Elizabeth Warren WHO HAS SAID ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS, IN NUMEROUS INTERVIEWS THAT SHE IS NOT GOING TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT. Biden can't even be ahead of her in the polls! Thus, while Hillary is assumed to be the frontrunner for the Democrats, there is no frontrunner for the Republicans. I allow that by 11/9/16 at 1 AM (when this post is scheduled to be published), Hillary may not have survived as a candidate.

On the Republican side, there's 20 candidates mentioned on this Wikipedia page, as of today. That's ultra-disheartening because only 1 of those candidates are going to win the nomination. I don't understand why those 20 candidates can't be locked in a room and not be released until they decide who is going to run. This would have to be done without aides or any assistants. Just 20 people in a room. Set aside the egos, the hype, and figure it out.

As for other things in life, just to set the stage, Megan graduates from West High School in 2 weeks. Today's events include:
  • Matthew Helmke is scheduled to help me install 6 new outside lights at 9 AM
  • Calvin Colony is scheduled to
    • install the black plastic thing that goes in the left side of the sink
    • fix the leak on my sink in the master bathroom
As for any other things I want to document today? Karen turned 46 on Thursday. She and I went to the Riverside Casino ~ 6 PM. I sat down at a blackjack table with "Michael" as the dealer. The first hand was great - I was dealt 21. The second hand, I was dealt 19, didn't hit, and Michael flipped over 21. I ended up walking away from the table with $1.50 from the $40 I spent. Karen won $139 on a slot machine though!
