The WWE has gone down this route before, with Paul Heyman turning on CM Punk at a crucial point in CM Punk's WWE career, which means, yes, this is a similar storyline to what has been done before. Personally, I think Paul Heyman *should* turn on Brock Lesnar, cost Lesnar his belt by siding with Roman Reigns. It would be along the lines of how Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were bitter enemies but then turned into buddies for a period of time. It would then be interesting, at least to me, to then have Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins do a segment in which they question what Reigns is doing, only to have Heyman interrupt the conversation and offer his services to The Shield. From that point, it could be teased whether Ambrose & Rollins are going to side with Reigns & Heyman or if they will decline the offer. What could make it even more interesting is if Ambrose & Rollins agree to join Reigns & Heyman, only to have Brock Lesnar return at a PPV and sneak attack the trio. It would have to be done after Lesnar had been off the air for a while. Then, just to sweeten the pot, Lesnar and Heyman would reunite.
Damn. I should be a WWE Creative Writer!
In other news, here's a preview for tonight's WWE Monday Night Raw: https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2790695-rumors-preview-for-tag-team-title-clash-and-august-13-episode-of-wwe-raw. It's possible I will be in Des Moines, IA, at the Iowa State Fair, watching Bad Authority, Chevelle, & Papa Roach instead of sitting in the basement on our comfy couch watching WWE Monday Night Raw. It's $97 for Alex & I to go to the concert tonight.
Editor's Note: This happened on Monday Night Raw on August 13, 2018.
