In August 2018, I justified NOT seeing Seether in Dubuque because I thought I was going to see Seether in October, in Des Moines. After plans have been shaken out a bit more, it's uncertain as to whether I will actually see Seether in October, in Des Moines. I thought Alex would be going with me, but I don't think that's going to actually happen. Is the band taunting me? I think so as it feels like each time time I turn on the radio, I hear their tune "Against the Wall" which I hope has found its way onto the band's setlist.
I also just found an acoustic version of the tune, which I like as well as the non-acoustic version.
The other X factor in all of this is that Creed's guitarist, Mark Tremonti's band "Tremonti" is the opening band in Des Moines - I'd like to see them play too.
I'll know by October 1st if I'm playing in a charity golf event at the Riverside Casino Golf Course. The entry fee for that event is $125. Would I be selfish to spend the money on both Seether & the golf event?!?
